The site will house Saunders\u2019 new headquarters and is scheduled to break ground this spring with an expected completion date of early 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Saunders Development, a newly formed extension of Saunders, is the developer for the company\u2019s new headquarters. Saunders Development purchased the 6-acre site in the Inverness Business Park for $1.66 million. With Saunders taking up about half the site for its new digs \u2014 a roughly 40,000 square feet building \u2014 it will have plenty of capacity to add a second build-to-suit office available for lease to one company or a handful of businesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaunders is taking the lead in bringing a new kind of partnership philosophy to the competitive development and construction industries with the creation of Saunders Development,\u201d said Greg Schmidt, President and CEO of Saunders.\u00a0 \u201cThe ability to underwrite and procure development opportunities means that Saunders can now provide a level of service to its long-standing and new clients that goes beyond construction services \u2014 a model for future growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trae Rigby, who was brought on in summer 2015 to serve as the company\u2019s Vice President of Development, has launched Saunders\u2019 new line of services by overseeing the development of the company\u2019s new headquarters and custom-build out of the remaining space.<\/p>\n<p>Saunders will be incorporating this new business model of tailored-to-fit opportunities in the Rocky Mountain Region.
